At Seaforth State School, we start our school day at 8.30am and finish at 2:30pm. This decision has been made to allow families to travel into Mackay after school for sport, groceries, appointments or leisure. Please see below our general school day.

Bell times

8:20am - First Bell

8:30am - 10:30am - First session

10:30am - 11:00am - First Break Lunch/Play

11:05am - 1:00pm - Middle session

1:00pm - 1:30pm - Second Break Lunch/Play

1:35pm - 2:30pm- Afternoon session

2:30pm - Dismissal​ Bell

**​Whole school parade is on a Monday afternoon at 2:00pm in the School Library**

Breakfast Club - school provides Toast and Cereal from 8:00am-8:20am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Before and after school procedures

There is no formal before and after school care available due to insufficient numbers. Students are asked to be at school no earlier than 8:00am unless previous arrangements have been made.
