Our school

Seaforth State School was first established in 1935 and we celebrated our 75th anniversary in 2010. Our school is the centre of our wider community holding many after school activities to support the cultural, sporting and social well being of our community. Such activities are: dance lessons, ‘Active After school’ activities (hockey, cricket, rugby league, rugby union, AFL, gymnastics, bush dances, Tai Chi, guitar lessons, music group).

We are a 'Kids Matter' school basing our philosophy around the ‘I Can Do It!’ program that builds on the five core purposes of social and emotional well being:

  1. Confidence (academic and social)
  2. Persistence
  3. Organisation
  4. Getting along
  5. Resilience
